Mainguard International
Established 40 years ago in Asia’s commercial hub – Singapore, Mainguard is one of the few licensed companies in Asia today that specialises corporate investigations.
The company was founded by Major (ret) P. Kalastree who was elected as President of the Council of International Investigators (2001-2002), and a former recipient of the International Investigator of the Year (1998) presented by the Council of International Investigators – a US based association for security practitioners and private investigators with the membership background from FBI, CIA and intelligence organizations worldwide covering over 40 countries.
Mainguard has also produced another International Investigator of the Year, awarded by the Council of International Investigators to Sheila Ponnosamy in 2010. She was also awarded the Meritorious Service Award, and became President of the Council of International Investigators in 2014.

Global Reach & Regional Expertise
Through its international affiliations in over 10 professional associations and extensive global network in the Asia-Pacific region and the West, Mainguard has acquired a good working knowledge of countries worldwide.
On 1 November 2008, Mainguard International (S) Pte Ltd entered a joint venture with Globe Detective Agency Pvt Ltd, the largest private investigations firm in India.
Through this venture, the Mainguard Group has access to Globe’s offices in over 20 cities in India.

A Trained Investigations Team
Mainguard’s investigations team has a diverse a range of expertise and experience comprising of research and analysis, undercover operations, forensic accounting, surveillance, international trade matters, competitive intelligence and others.
The investigations team undergo both classroom and on-the job training, and they are sent for courses to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
